About us

Monsarcus History

With over 30 years of experience in IT—spanning technology, project management, sales, procurement, contract negotiation, legal matters, and leadership—I found myself ready for a new chapter. Following a tragic event in my family in 2024, I felt a strong desire to become more involved in a family-owned business in the real estate sector. This shift inspired me to take the natural step of starting my own company.

Monsarcus AB was officially registered in 2024, and operations commenced in 2025.

Previous projects and assignments

Modernized IT

Following an early strategic decision to transition to the cloud, IT infrastructure was modernized through:

  • Introducing services from Microsoft 365
  • Replacing business systems with cloud services (SaaS)
  • Implementing cloud-based support systems for IT (support system and device management)
  • Migrating data warehouse servers to Azure (PaaS)

Cloud based telephony

Implemented a new telephony system primarily to manage booking inquiries. The system was procured and first introduced in Sweden, replacing an existing Avaya switchboard. Since then, operations in three additional countries have been migrated to the same platform. The transition resulted in lower costs, improved integrations, more flexible workflows, and - most importantly - higher customer satisfaction.

New IT organization and governance

Streamlined the IT organization and implemented a unified, group-wide IT function with effective cross-country collaboration. Successfully shifted the organization's view of IT—from a necessary expense to a strategic asset that drives and supports business operations.

Enhanced cybersecurity posture

Continuously worked in various ways to enhance the security level, with the goal of increasing the organization's resilience against attacks. Examples include:

  • User training to raise awareness
  • Implementation of multiple technical security requirements (e.g., MFA and Conditional Access)
  • Network segmentation
  • Redundant solutions for critical systems
  • Deployment of multiple security layers for external web environments
  • Regular vulnerability scans
  • SOC (Security Operations Center) service
